At FOR HEROES ONLY, we reinvent the way brands engage with kids
We are a Transmedia Storytelling Studio creating, producing and delivering Mixed Reality Adventures (MRA’s) to help brands grow and engage with audiences in radically new and purposeful ways, starting with kids.
The challenge: winning the hard-fought battle over kids’ attention
In the US alone, marketers from all industries invest $17B per year to catch the attention of the 8 to12-year-olds, a population that influences $180B worth of yearly spending. Entertainment, sports and consumer brands need new and effective ways to engage their young audiences.
Our solution: inspiring Mixed Reality Adventures for kids that bridge reality and fiction
Our Mixed Reality Adventures are customized 12-month-long gamified, immersive adventures that blend real and virtual worlds (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Alternate Reality), and use Transmedia Storytelling and Transmedia Play to deliver a rich interactive experience where kids take an active role.
Transmedia Storytelling is the process of telling stories across multiple forms of media in order to deliver unique pieces of content in each channel. Importantly, these pieces of content are not only linked together, but in narrative synchronization with each other.
Transmedia Storytelling and Transmedia Play are set to define the future of advertising, entertainment, education and healthcare (“Transmedia will shape the future of Hollywood and F500 firms” – Forbes, July 1st, 2017).
Sales and Marketing Strategy: aiming for pole position
For Heroes Only’s first Mixed Reality Adventure – Get Dressed For The Adventure – is being co-produced in partnership with kids apparel brand Pekaboo Beans Inc (CSE: BEAN) and will be released in Q4, 2019. FHO’s sales strategy is to focus on the professional sport industry to establish itself as a sought-after leading solutions provider.
Competitive Landscape: no established competition
Established transmedia storytelling production studios are very few. Starlight Runner out of NYC works with major brands such as Coca Cola or Avatar. Reflector Entertainment out of Montreal (founded by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté) focusses on a B2C approach. Conducttr out of the UK focusses on education.
A subscription-based business model
FHO enters in annual renewable contractuacts with brands for the customization and use of its SaaS platforms and story worlds. There are three streams of revenues: yearly subscriptions, on-boarding development & sponsorship.
Dream Team: the perfect mix of top talents
Our imagination team is made up Emmy award winning storytellers and technology folks working together to create and manage end-to-end programs that brands champion, parents approve and kids like and share.
